What are the costs to move my holiday home to a different pitch?

Buying a showground unit

If you decide to purchase one of our showground holiday homes, it can be moved to a pitch of your choice. The price of the unit includes siting, levelling and connecting up to your selected pitch.

  • Moving to a Free or Bronze pitch: included at no extra cost.
  • Moving to a Silver or Gold pitch: additional costs of ÂŁ5,000–£15,000 may apply.

Another factor to consider is decking for your holiday home, which typically costs between £6,000–£10,000, depending on whether you choose a side deck or a full wrap-around.

already on a pitch at the park?

If you are already a holiday home owner at BCHP, you can move your holiday home to a new pitch for a price that depends on what outside companies charge. This assumes you want to move to a similar-standard pitch (i.e. do not want to “upgrade” to a premium pitch), and the costs are due to your holiday home already being sited and potentially having uPVC decking. Moving your holiday home involves two elements: decking refitting (if it is uPVC, not wooden) and contractors’ costs.

Decking company costs:

  • Removing and refitting existing decking (typically ÂŁ1,000-ÂŁ4,000 depending on the decking)
  • This is cheaper and less wasteful than commissioning a new decking

Contractors’ costs:

  • Disconnecting and relocating the holiday home (ÂŁ500 plus VAT)
  • Siting, levelling, reconnecting on a new pitch (ÂŁ1,200 plus VAT)
  • Carrying out essential gas & electric checks (ÂŁ250 plus VAT)

The cost for this process is ÂŁ2,340 (including VAT).
