What Does It Cost To Move My Holiday Home To BCHP?

A breakdown of costs

  • Pitch Premium – ÂŁ5,000 (standard) to ÂŁ25,000 (lakeview).
  • Contractors costs – transport, siting, levelling, connecting, decking (e.g. ÂŁ2,000 to ÂŁ5,000)
  • Pro-rata pitch fees – paying for the cost of services for the rest of the season.

Why do you charge a pitch premium?

The basic pitch premium at Burton Constable Holiday Park is ÂŁ5,000, while high-demand pitches e.g. next to the lake can have premiums as high as ÂŁ25,000.

Our business is selling holiday homes, so you’ll understand it doesn’t make sense for people to bring a holiday home to our pitches without paying a premium (selling on the pitch would otherwise have brought us a profit).

However, we are sympathetic to people who have invested in holiday homes they love, but on parks that they don’t love any more. So we allow a certain number of people to bring their holiday homes to us each year to have a much happier time with us.

For these customers, paying a bring-on premium and contractor costs can be easier and cheaper than selling their holiday home and buying one with us. For more information on moving parks click here.
