    • These typically amount to around ÂŁ2,750-ÂŁ3,000

  • Decking costs
    • If you want to transport and refit your current uPVC decking (we do not allow wooden decking), or buy a new decking for your holiday home, this is a cost to consider either immediately or further down the line.

    • New decking (depending how “mad” you go) might be ÂŁ5,000 to ÂŁ9,000

Why do you charge a pitch premium?

The “bronze” pitch premium at Burton Constable Holiday Park is ÂŁ5,000, while highest-demand pitches e.g. next to the lake can have premiums as high as ÂŁ25,000.

Our business is selling holiday homes and holidays, so you’ll understand it doesn’t make sense for people to bring a holiday home to our pitches without paying a premium (selling on the pitch would otherwise have brought us a profit).

However, we are sympathetic to people who have invested in holiday homes they love, but on parks that they don’t love any more – so we allow a certain number of people to bring their holiday homes to us each year to have a much happier time with us. We even have some pitches that we are offering for free to promote this initiative.

For these customers, paying a bring-on premium and contractor costs can be easier and cheaper than selling their holiday home and buying one with us – and in some cases, the difference in pitch fees between our parks and others can be a saving even considering the moving costs.
