Dog-Friendly Guidelines
To ensure the safety and well-being of all our guests, we kindly request that dog owners adhere to our responsible dog ownership guidelines. By adhering to these guidelines, we can create a harmonious environment for everyone to enjoy.
- Keep your dogs on a leash at all times whilst on the park grounds. This includes; The Woodland Store, The Lakeside Bar and the Reception.
- Maintain control over your dog’s behaviour. Please note that there is wildlife on the park.
- Promptly clean up after your dog(s).
Dog Walking Areas
Secure Dog Run
Located across from the park entrance, our secure dog run offers a tranquil haven where you and your canine companion can unwind and run the field to their heart’s content. Please use this designated area if you wish to give your dog some time off of their leash.
On-Park Walking Trails
There is a number of tranquil walking trails in and around the park. Take a mystical wander through the bluebell woods, enjoy a leisurely stroll along the lakeside or even explore the Arboretum.
There are additional nature trails leading up to the walled garden, or you can even walk over the capability brown bridge and head up the Burton Constable Hall where you can take a break at the Stables Kitchen.
Please note that these routes still require your dogs to be on leashes at all times.
Dog-Friendly On-Park Amenities
At The Lakeside Bar, you’re welcome to bring your furry friends into the conservatory area. However, we do request that they refrain from jumping and sitting on the furniture. With this in mind, you can bring your precious doggie along to share in the delightful experience, be it a refreshing drink or an amazing meal from The Parkland Kitchen. There is also doggie ice cream available at the bar.
The Woodland Store is also dog friendly so please bring your pooches to meet our wonderful staff.
