Burton Constable Holiday Park

Dog-Friendly Guidelines

Welcome to Burton Constable Holiday Park, your ideal dog-friendly destination in East Yorkshire. We are committed to providing a welcoming environment for both our guests and their furry companions. Please review our dog ownership rules and available amenities to ensure a pleasant stay for everyone.

Responsible Dog Ownership

To maintain a safe and enjoyable atmosphere, we kindly ask all dog owners to follow these guidelines:

Leash Requirement: Keep your dogs on a leash at all times while on park grounds, including areas like The Lakeside Bar and Reception.

Behavior Control: Ensure your dog is well-behaved, especially around the park’s wildlife.

Clean Up: Promptly clean up after your dog(s).

Dog Walking Areas

Guest Exclusive Dog Run

Located at the north end of the park, our new guest-exclusive dog run requires a pin code for access, available only to holiday guests and homeowners. This secure area is a tranquil space where dogs can run freely off-leash and features benches for your convenience.

Public Dog Run

Across from the park entrance, our secure public dog run is perfect for letting your canine companion unwind and enjoy the outdoors.

On-Park Walking Trails

Explore our numerous walking trails designed for peaceful strolls with your dog:

Bluebell Woods: Take a mystical wander through the bluebell woods.

Lakeside: Enjoy a leisurely walk along the lakeside.

Arboretum: Discover the beauty of the arboretum.

Nature Trails: Follow trails to the walled garden or cross the Capability Brown Bridge to Burton Constable Hall, where you can relax at the Stables Kitchen.

Please remember to keep your dog on a leash on all trails.

Dog-Friendly On-Park Amenities

The Lakeside Bar welcomes dogs in the conservatory area. While visiting, please ensure your dog remains off the furniture. Enjoy a meal from The Parkland Kitchen or a refreshing drink, and treat your dog to some special doggie ice cream available at the bar.

Dangerous Dogs Act 1991

We adhere strictly to the Dangerous Dogs Act of 1991. Dogs classified under the banned breeds are not permitted.

Please refer to the government guidelines on the XL Bully.
