What other costs are involved in static caravan ownership?

As a general rule, most ownership costs are covered by the annual pitch fee. There are costs on an individual level that depend on use of the holiday home, but as a minimum you should expect to pay for your own electricity and gas (which depend on what the utilities companies charge – we are in their hands on that one), internet and insurance (which you can source yourself but might cost you say ÂŁ50 per month in total).

Thereafter, you pay for any extras e.g. fishing permits, gutter clean-outs, winterisation, spring cleaning, use of the fitness room, any jobs you want to commission in or around the holiday home etc. etc.
